4 WEEK, " UP ON YOUR FEET ONLINE" WITH STAN ROTH! STARTS JULY 24TH
Open 24/7
Description

"Stan’s a great teacher - what I’ve learned in his classes about auditioning for the camera and acting techniques is priceless." M. Tolliver

This 4 week workshop goes virtual and just like the studio version, replicates the actual audition experience and is designed to teach and solidify those skills that will consistently result in successful readings: making specific character choices, expanding emotional range, playing precise objectives, engaging the actor’s imagination, and learning solid, dependable technique.

"Loved, loved, loved your class... you are an insightful, generous coach...you gave me huge insights into where I might fit in, my type, how I’d be seen and where I should concentrate my next growth efforts…." D. Barnes

Stan’s style provides clear, effective instruction with no gimmicks, and he is particularly adept at focusing on each actor’s unique personality, casting type, strengths and weaknesses. Roles are tailored accordingly and will give each actor the ability to stretch in challenging directions. Actors will be paired prior to class with film and tv sides emailed in advance. Recordings of your work will be available. Course of 4 classes. Friday July 24th-August 14th. 11am-1:30pm.

We offer a variety of classes geared to prepare actors for the demands of auditioning and working in the challenging Bay Area Market. Our instructors are the best in the business; not only accomplished working actors and teachers, but casting session directors, television and radio producers and theater directors. They bring a unique perspective from both sides of the performance and casting process. Our class sizes are kept to a minimum, giving each student ample time in front of the camera and mic. All of our classes are held at Das Studio, home to Greg Cohen, Kristen Beck and Beau Bonneau Casting. Classes are taught using state of the art camera equipment and casting software, giving each actor a taste of the real world auditioning environment. And each student will have the opportunity to watch their progress on tape.
